Renewal of Passport
The Philippine passport is valid for five (5) years from the date of issuance. A holder of a Philippine passport is encouraged to apply for renewal of the passport at least six months before the expiration of its validity period or when its visa pages are about to run out.
The requirements for renewal of passport are as follows:
- Application form duly accomplished;
- Valid passport and photocopy of its personal data page and visa page. Kindly note that the Embassy does not offer photocopying services;
- One passport size [1.77" (4.5cms) x 1/37" (3.5cms)] color ID picture;
- Personal appearance; and,
Note: For seamen applicants, they are also required to submit a photocopy of their Seaman’s Book and a letter of request or certification of employment from the ship’s master.
