Ambassador Antonio Rodriguez talks to former Senator Leticia Ramos Shahani and Mae-Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta of Thailand at the World Youth Peace Summit held in Bangkok on 25-29 Feb. 2004. The two women leaders were also attending a meeting of the World Council of Religious Leaders. Senator Shahani is an international expert of the World Council, while Mae-Chee Sansanee is co-chair of the Global Peace Initiative of Women Religious and Spiritual Leaders.

Ambassador Rodriguez was the the guest of honor at the contract signing between Filipino TV station Net25 and Thailand Cable TV Association (TCTA) on 14 Nov. 2003. The agreement paved the way for the airing of Net25 to TCTA's more than 1 million subscribers outside Bangkok.

The benefactors were the Philippine Ladies Group, Philippine- Thai Business Council, Asian Institute of Technology Filipino Association, Couples for Christ Thailand and the Tennis Association of Filipinos in Thailand. Secretary Soliman is in Bangkok to attend the 5th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Social Welfare and Development.
